A difficult time of year

This is my last day at work before the Christmas break, with all it”s promise of festive fun. Unfortunately, the news isn”t so good at the moment which takes the edge off things and I think we all need to think of others for whom Christmas isn”t such a good time after all. Despite all that, there is plenty to be thankful for and I”m looking forward to the year 2015 and all that it promises. Things may be winding down here at Woodworking Plans & Projects but come the New Year it will be straight back into action with renewed vigour refreshed after a, hopefully, relaxing break and having eaten and drunk too much. A New Year and new possibilities, new and interesting content in the magazine, which makes our magazine better than the rest as far as I am concerned, I hope you agree too.

A little bizarrely the next issue of Woodworking Plans & Projects goes on sale on Christmas Day! Since all shops and newsagents will be closed you might struggle to get hold of a copy, but come Boxing Day and a brisk walk to burn off some eating excess, you should be able to pick up your favourite woodworking magazine. Both I and the rest of team at the magazine would like to wish all our readers a very merry and restful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Until next year, Anthony Bailey.
